David Ferguson, and his artist wife Stephanie (a painter) enjoy gardening and especially rock garden construction as a (serious) hobby.

Together, they have built stone walls, benches and steps and have sculpted dramatic alpine, crevice and scree beds for their own extensive botanical collection of alpine and dryland species.

In addition to their own home landscaping projects, Stephanie and David have collaborated on several other rock garden design commissions as well - converting typical residential lawn monocultures into dynamic, naturalized & biodiverse landscapes.

Both are longtime members of CRAGS (Calgary Rock & Alpine Garden Society).
